Nothing but white

It's snowing outside. Goody. It's been snowing since at least 6 this morning, and it's currently 3:15 in the afternoon. Worst of all, I have nobody to snuggle up with to keep each other warm. (yeah I'm a romantic, blah blah...)

If anyone can explain to me why nice people always finish last and why bitches who mistreat their boyfriends always get what they want, I'd appreciate it, a lot.

Killing my phone

Since my phone refuses to keep a charge, I'm killing it as a last-ditch effort, as I cannot afford a new phone or new battery at the moment. I figure I'll drain the battery and then charge it from there. The internet says that this works sometimes, and the internet never, ever lies...

However, it's taking my phone a very long time to die. The "low battery" reminder is coming on every minute now and informing me that the battery is dying.

I had weird dreams last night, dreams I thought I'd never have. It must have been a premonition that my phone would refuse to die quickly. Yeah...

Update: I win

So I decided to forgo Tuesday. It was supposed to be snowing, and I'll be damned if I'm going to be driving in the dark, for an hour, in my car, in shitty weather, and then fight Inauguration Day traffic. No. Totally didn't happen, especially since half of my classes cancelled. (Half, meaning one of my two classes...)

I win.

Dawning Realization

My commute to class is over an hour. My classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8am to 10:45am. Now, this is not so much a problem as the fact that in two days, it will be Inauguration Day. Now, my school is very near route 95, which means lots of traffic. I have to deal with the biggest and craziest Inauguration Day traffic madness, ever, at 7am, near route 95. I'm rather displeased. I'm probably going to have to be up at 5:45 to allow for the traffic. D'oh.
